Material & methods - indicating the locale, number and type of human subjects, non-human species or material being studied, the principal procedures, assays, tests or treatments performed;
Results - confirming or refuting the hypothesis, supported by statistics if appropriate;
Conclusions - stating the major new findings of the study and specifying what these findings add to what is known already.

Free Communications
Each speaker will be given 10 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for discussion. As the scientific program will be conducted on a very tight time schedule, speakers are asked to strictly adhere to the time given.
All meeting rooms will be equipped with slide projectors for single projection or double projection. Overhead projectors and pointers will be available. Slides must be 50x50 mm with an image window of 24x36 mm in plastic or metal mounts and protected by glass. All slides must bear a serial number and identification of the correct direction of insertion.
Slides must be submitted at least 60 minutes before presentation to the slide desk in the slide preview room.

Poster Presentations
Posters offer an excellent way of presenting detailed scientific data to an interested audience. It is well accepted nowadays that poster presentations in many instances are superior to oral communications at scientific meetings. MEFS has always encouraged this way of communication and urges authors to be available for discussion at their posters as often as possible, but certainly during the daily lunchtime poster viewing.

All selected posters will be presented electronically on a number of workstations. All workstations will be available throughout the course of the meeting.

Instructions for Posters
MEFS will abandon the traditional scientific exhibition format of printed posters, and therefore paperless poster exhibition. The poster area will be in the exhibit area (ground floor).

The presentation of electronic posters onsite will be accomplished by a number of workstations connected to a center server. A high performance search engine will allow searching by authors, posters titles, full text and many more criteria.

All selected posters will be presented electronically on a number of workstations. All workstations will be available throughout the course of the meeting.

The best 5 posters will be discussed and the author will make a presentation for 2 to 3 minutes followed,

please make sure to attend the poster session.
