About us

The MEFS nursing special interest group for fertility nurses aims to ensure the participation and active contribution of fertility nurses within the MEFS activities. By working together, the MEFS fertility nurse’s group members can share their knowledge, experiences and new nursing practices in order to deliver the best care for infertile couples seeking treatment.

Mission

• Promoting ongoing professional development for fertility nurses across the Middle East region.
• Offering a forum for networking, support, collaboration and exchange of information between fertility clinics.
• Ensure the delivery of high quality of care related to reproductive medicine.

Vision

• Provide excellent care and evidence-based practice in the field of ART Nursing.

Mona Fawaz is the Fertility Nurse Coordinator at the American University of Beirut Medical Center,
She holds a bachelor in nursing science and enrolled in a Master of Sciences in Nursing/Research Track from the St Joseph University in Beirut.
